A night for a cause!

The AHMCI and CCSA come together to raise much-needed funds for children's health services in Cyprus.

The funds raised from this Gala Night, scheduled for 17 May 2024 and from other supporting charity events held by the Australian Hellenic Medical Charity and the Cyprus Community of SA will be directed towards the procurement of medical equipment to assist the needs of the Paediatric Clinic of Makarios III Hospital, Nicosia, Cyprus.

Senior board member of the AHMCI, and also President of the CCSA Andreas Evdokiou, officially pledged to the Paediatric Clinic  a donation of €50 thousand in August 2024, at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia, Cyprus (read more here).

Proceeds from the event to be held on 17 May will contribute to improving the quality of care for the children of the clinic within Makarios III Hospital in Nicosia, Cyprus. The Gala Night will treat guests to a 3-course dinner, a range of beverages and live entertainment by Adelaide's own, Band Kosmos. The event will be held at the Cyprus Community of South Australia complex.

Last year's successful event raised $120,000 to purchase medical equipment for Ikaria Hospital in Greece. This year's event is sure to be an even bigger success!
