10 Years Celebrating Our Community

Final preparations are well underway for our tenth anniversary, and it's going to be a celebration unlike no other! Bookmark this page to stay updated!  


The Cyprus Festival by the Cyprus Community of South Australia Inc. has become a permanent fixture of the SA yearly calendar. The Festival has been warmly embraced not only by those of Hellenic origin but by the wider SA community. The yearly event attracts an audience of more than 5000 from all walks of life coming together to celebrate Cyprus' culture and heritage but always within the context of the broader South Australian multicultural community. By doing so we promote cultural diversity and social cohesion.  


The 2025 Cyprus Community Festival will showcase a full program of entertainment and events for the young and old, featuring the best local talent and special international performers with the high-quality array of food, beverages and sweets attendees have come to expect.  The Cyprus Festival is the major fundraising event for the community which raises much-needed funds required to provide the communities' programs not only to community members but to the whole SA community.

Be part of our 10th birthday celebrations!

The Cyprus Community Festival is only made possible by our dedicated and hardworking volunteers. Our festival volunteers come in many forms - talented cooks, face painters, food runners, skilled bar staff, coffee baristas, stage hands, cashiers and servers! In return you will meet some fabulous like-minded people, enjoy the festival atmosphere and have the opportunity to indulge in some festival delicacies!

What's On?

  • Stephanos Pelekanis & Christos Sikkis direct from Cyprus performing all the traditional Cypriot classics with an ensemble of musicians from Cyprus including violin, laouto, lavta and pithkiavli (Cypriot flute).
  • Band Kosmos joined by percussionist Giorgos Moutzouris, with Stassi & Joanna performing your favourite classics and all the contemporary hits and beyond. 
  • Master of Ceremonies will be none other than our very own Kefi Krew DJ Valandi, also on the decks with DJ Kosta. 
  • Adelaide's best dance groups performing traditional and contemporary dances from accross Cyprus and Greece.
  • Honoring former Premier Mike Rann for his significant contributions to the Cyprus community and his advocacy for Cyprus during his political career
